I had to change my holiday dates, so I got in touch with Thomas Cook support. To be fair, they did sort it out in the end, and the person I spoke to was polite enough.
The annoying part was how long it took, and I had to chase them once to get things moving. It wasn’t a total disaster, but it definitely knocked my trust a bit. If something simple like rescheduling feels this slow, I’m not sure how confident I’d feel if there was a bigger issue.

I booked a trip on thomascook.com and my travel documents came through smoothly. I did have to double-check a couple of details myself, but everything was there in the end and it was really easy to download. I would’ve liked the luggage info to be a bit clearer, but overall it worked totally fine.

I booked a holiday through Thomas Cook after spending way too long comparing options one evening, probably with a cup of tea going cold next to me. The price was alright, but I wouldn’t say it was the best I’d seen. I did spot a couple of similar deals a bit cheaper elsewhere, but the site itself was easier to use, which is why I stuck with it.
The only thing that annoyed me a little was that the final price changed once a few extras were added on. It wasn’t a massive jump or anything dramatic, but I always find that kind of thing a bit frustrating, especially when you think you’ve got the cost figured out already.
Overall, it was fine and I’d use it again if the right deal came up. I just wouldn’t assume it’s always the cheapest option, so it’s probably worth checking a few other sites before booking.

Maybe I read too much into the tone of the deal, but I assumed it was a decent saving. After booking, I found the same hotel and flights for less elsewhere. I booked through thomascook.com but had to cancel because of a family issue. the cancellation process wasn’t very clear, and I ended up having to chase them a few times just to get updates. The refund information seemed to change depending on who I spoke to, and it took longer than they originally told me. The staff were polite, to be fair, but the whole thing felt a bit disorganized. A friend had actually recommended them to me, which is why I booked, but after this experience I’d definitely think twice before using them again...

"Tour guide was a bit disappointing"

He seemed like a nice enough person and did know some things, but everything felt rushed and a little disorganised. When people asked questions, the answers were kind of vague, which was frustrating. I’ve been trying to get hold of the Thomas Cook call centre and it’s been a nightmare. I was on hold for nearly an hour, then the call just dropped and I had to start all over again. It felt like they either don’t have enough people answering phones or something’s going on behind the scenes, because it was impossible to get any proper help. So frustrating when all you need is a quick answer.
